Amanda Kloots is giving love another chance. During Friday’s episode of The conversation, The 39-year-old co-host revealed that she has started dating again, a year after the death of her husband, Nick Cordero.
“I met my two husbands doing Broadway shows. First we became friends, then we got married. Obviously, with Nick, we had a son. Actually, I have never dated,” Kloots began. “I’ve just started dating again and it’s crazy to be dating for the first time at 39.”
Kloots went on to admit, “It’s pretty scary and really out of your element, and it’s just hard. It’s hard.” However, she added that her dating experience so far is “wonderful.”
“They are wonderful people that I am getting to know, and so far it has been a great process,” he said. “But I will say that it is very difficult without going into too much detail.”
Kloots was previously married to actor David Larsen for six years. After her divorce, she met Cordero while working at Bullets Over Broadway. They were married from 2017 until his death in 2020. Cordero and Kloots shared a son Elvis, who was born in 2019.
Lamb died of complications from COVID-19 last year. On the first anniversary of her death, she took to Instagram to share a video slideshow of the memories of their life together.

You were surrounded by so much love and Led Zeppelin playing on Spotify, without a doubt it was your fault, not mine “Kloots captioned in the slideshow. “What happened was unthinkable, losing you was my biggest fear. I used to tell you all the time, ‘Don’t you dare go anywhere. If I lose you, I don’t know what I would do.’
Kloots also opened up to ET about how she managed to become a single mother to Elvis in the wake of her husband’s death.
“I have a lot of help. I couldn’t do it without my help,” Kloots told ET about being a single parent, a topic she addresses in her new book. Live your life. “I have five jobs. I work all day and then I spend every second that I can with Elvis. I have a great group of friends who run to my aid and rescue as much as possible, and my family.”
