90 day fiancé Fan favorite Darcey might not have the happily ever after she thought she found with her fiancé, Georgi, at the end of season 1 of Darcey and Stacey. ET spoke with both Darcey and her twin sister, Stacey, about season 2 of their hit spinoff and she was candid about what her relationship with Georgi is today.
90 day fiancé Fans have seen 46-year-old Darcey go through a lot of headaches with her exes, Jesse, and Tom, but during season 1 of Darcey and Stacey, she was delighted to be with the man of her dreams, Georgi. Georgi, a 32-year-old Bulgarian masseuse whom he met on social media, proposed last June and happily said yes. But Darcey tells ET that instead of happy wedding planning, things are not going well with Georgi for season 2.
“I had some questions and I needed a bit of transparency, so you’re going to see some of the ups and downs Georgi and I have been through, and it’s not all great,” Darcey tells ET’s Melicia Johnson. “I have a big heart, I deserve love and I just want transparency. I don’t want to continue in relationships that don’t serve me well and I have to make those decisions for myself.”
In the season 2 trailerDarcey is shown having a conversation with Georgi’s ex-wife, who claims she caught Georgi on a website for sugar moms. Georgi is also shown getting close to Darcey’s infamous ex, Jesse. Darcey and Jesse continue on bad terms after their messy breakup, and Darcey definitely didn’t approve of Georgi having a conversation with him.
“I can’t even say his name,” Darcey laughs, referring to Jesse. “Talking to you know who, maybe like a blow back or something.”
“Maybe they both wanted attention,” he adds about Georgi and Jesse’s motives. “They can have the other’s attention, I don’t know.”
She also explained her accusation that Georgi was “bombarding her with love” in the trailer for Darcey and Stacey season 2.
“I felt like he was trying to twist history and, you know, blame myself for things,” he says. “Sometimes you guys couldn’t see on the cameras moments where he was very sweet and loving and very loving and loving, but then there are times when I just … I feel like I constantly feel like I’m not good enough. “
“Why are they treating me like this? I didn’t understand it,” he continues. “And to me I felt like I was being bombarded, like, love bombing. Like, you have love for me, you say you love me, but then it’s like, you’re bombing it. You’re ruining it. Like, why are you treating me like this? ? I felt really painful at the time. “
Darcey was shy when asked if fans would see her marry Georgi.
“I deserve love in the end, so we’ll see, guys,” he says. “But whether we do it or not, you’ll see.”
Darcey said that despite her past failed relationships with Jesse and Tom, she felt no pressure to make it work the third time with Georgi.
“No, because I just want to be with the right person,” he says. “And no matter how long it takes, it is necessary. I feel like I have recovered from past relationships and sometimes I have to talk about my past relationships so I can let Georgi or whoever know what I don’t want. I’m fine. with doing that, I feel like I don’t need to get it back in my face like before, because I deserve better than that. There is love there, but I just need that soft and strong side of a man to understand where I come from. “
Darcey said that whatever happens, she will always be open when it comes to looking for love and showing her emotions.
“I cut the cord from the past and I only want people in my life who really have a good heart, love to share, and the best of intentions,” he says. “As I am open, I want my children to see me as a beautiful, strong and empowered mother who strives to achieve it. Be it love, success or happiness, I want to radiate that. The difficulties of achieving all that, I will still continue. I will continue to go. I’ll still be open. “
Season 2 of Darcey and Stacey premieres Monday, July 19 at 8 pm ET / PT on TLC.
