• SRH vs KXIP IPL 2020 Match 22: The 22nd match of the 13th season of the Indian Premier League was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kings XI Punjab on the Dubai ground. Hyderabad captain David Warner has chosen to bat by winning the toss and batting first scored 201 runs, losing 6 wickets in 20 overs, thanks to the half-centuries of Johnny Bairstow and David Warner. Chasing the target, the entire team of Punjab were all out after scoring 132 runs in 16.5 overs.

After winning the toss, Sunrisers Hyderabad were given a strong start by captain David Warner and Johnny Bairstow. Both added powerplay 58 runs. For Hyderabad, Johnny Bairstow hit a half-century in 28 balls. Captain David Warner also completed a strong half-century in 37 balls. However, skipper Warner was dismissed for 52 runs after adding 160 runs in 15 overs.
Ravi Bishnoi also gave Hyderabad the second blow. Bishnoi followed Johnny Bairstow on a personal score of 97 runs. The third blow to the team was in the form of Manish Pandey, who was dismissed by a single at the hands of Arshdeep. SRH got the fourth blow as Abdul Samad who could score 8 runs. Hyderabad suffered a fifth blow as Priyam Garg, who was dismissed without opening an account.
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s sixth wicket fell as Abhishek Sharma, who was dismissed for 12 runs. Kane Williamson remained unbeaten for Hyderabad with 20 runs from 10 balls. For Punjab, Ravi Bishnoi managed to take 3, Arshdeep Singh 2 and Mohammad Shami 1 wickets.
Punjab’s innings, Puran’s half-century wasted
Punjab did not have a good start against Hyderabad and opener Mayank Agarwal lost his wicket for 9 runs. He was run out after scoring 9 runs. Prabhasimran was out in an attempt to strike an aggressive shot off Khalil Ahmed. This young batsman scored 11 runs off 8 balls. Abhishek Sharma made Hyderabad a big success after eating two consecutive sixes from Nicholas Pooran. Punjab captain KL Rahul was sent back by catching Kane Williamson on the score of 11 runs. Maxwell was run out after scoring 7 runs. Mandeep Singh was dismissed by Rashid Khan on a brilliant googly. After this, Khalil Ahmed took the wicket of Mujib ur Rehman.
Rashid brought Hyderabad the biggest breakthrough when he dismissed Nicholas Puran, batting on 77 runs. Pooran was dismissed by Rashid at the hands of T Natarajan and Hyderabad won easy. Immediately after this, he also walked Mohammed Shami in LBW. T Natarajan got the last wicket of Punjab by dismissing Arshdeep.
Rashid Khan bowled once again for Hyderabad and took 3 wickets for 12 runs in 4 overs. Apart from this, Khalil Ahmed and T Natarajan took two wickets each. Abhishek Sharma got one wicket.
Sunrisers Hyderabad have made one change in this match, while Punjab’s team has landed with three changes. Hyderabad have replaced Khalil Ahmed in the playing eleven in place of Siddharth Kaul. At the same time, Kings XI Punjab have eliminated Sarfraz Khan, Harpreet Brar and Chris Jordan. He has been replaced by Prabhasimran Singh, Arshdeep Singh and Mujib ur Rehman.
