- The Osbourne family—Sharon, Kelly, and Jack—unleashed a tirade of insults against Roger Waters on their podcast.
- The attack was a direct response to the former Pink Floyd member’s disparaging comments about the late Ozzy Osbourne.
- Sharon Osbourne labeled Waters a “sad, irrelevant, old, miserable, ugly human being,” and speculated his motives were antisemitic.
- The family contrasted Waters with his former “gracious” bandmate, David Gilmour, questioning how Pink Floyd ever tolerated him.
The Osbourne family has returned to their podcast with a vengeance, aiming their collective fury squarely at Pink Floyd co-founder Roger Waters for his “pathetic” and “out of touch” remarks following the death of rock icon Ozzy Osbourne.
In the first episode of The Osbournes Podcast since Ozzy’s passing, Sharon, Kelly, and Jack Osbourne did not mince words, delivering a blistering condemnation of Waters that has reignited a war of words between the rock dynasties.
The Comments That Ignited the Feud
The conflict began when Waters, speaking on a YouTube channel, dismissed the late Black Sabbath frontman’s legacy. “Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him… We’ll never know. Although he was all over the TV for hundreds of years with his idiocy and nonsense,” Waters stated. “The music, I have no idea. I couldn’t give a fuck. I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did.”
Jack Osbourne had initially fired back on social media, writing, “Hey Roger Waters, f**k you… My father always thought you were a c**t. Thanks for proving him right.”
The Osbournes’ Brutal Podcast Takedown
The family used their podcast platform to amplify that sentiment. Sharon initiated the topic, calling Waters “probably one of the most sick individuals I’ve come across in years.” Kelly quickly added, “He’s a f**king c**t,” to which her mother replied, “He isn’t, ’cause c**ts are good.”
The family’s insults escalated from there.
A “Repulsive” Superiority Complex
“He has no charisma. He looks like Frankenstein,” Sharon continued, as Kelly chimed in, “And he thinks he so superior to everybody. And his superiority complex is just so repulsive.” Sharon added that Waters is “not relevant in today’s world. Nobody likes him.”
Sharon later questioned Waters’ motives, suggesting his attack on Ozzy was an antisemitic act directed at her. “Do you know why he did it?” she asked. “He did it because he knows I’m half-Jewish.” Her children, however, seemed to believe the reason was simpler, with Kelly concluding that Waters is just a “piece of f**kin’ sh*t.”
Contrasting with Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour
Sharon also wondered how Waters’ former bandmates endured his personality. “I don’t know how those guys in Pink Floyd put up with them as long as they did,” she mused, praising guitarist David Gilmour as “the most gracious, warm person you could ever meet.”
She ultimately summarized her feelings about Waters by calling him, “a sad, irrelevant, old, miserable human being — a miserable ugly human being.”
