During an October 15 appearance on Watch What Happens Live, host Andy Cohen, noting the “Bravo-verse would kill” him if he didn’t ask, brought up the scandal.
When asked directly if the LeCroy rumors contributed to the breakup, Lopez paused before delivering a masterclass in media management.
“You know,” she began, “I really have nothing to say about my personal life anymore. I feel like I’m done with that.” Her firm but graceful response was met with applause from the live audience, to which she smiled and said, “Yes, support!”
A Look Back at the Scandal
The drama erupted just weeks before Lopez and Rodriguez announced the end of their engagement in April 2021. During a fiery Southern Charm reunion in February of that year, cast member Craig Conover accused Madison LeCroy of flying to Miami to “f–k an ex-MLB player.”
LeCroy vehemently denied the claims on the show, stating, “Put me on a lie detector test. I never flew to Miami.” As speculation mounted that the player was Rodriguez, LeCroy clarified her connection to him in an interview with Page Six. Confirming the story, LeCroy—who married Brett Randle in 2022—recalled her blunt message to the former baseball star. “I told him, I said, ‘If you’re looking for a side chick, which clearly he was, it wasn’t gonna be me,’” she stated. “I’m wifey material.”
