The late Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor has said in his autobiography that he bought the award 50 years ago by giving Rs 30,000. Rishi Kapoor started his film career in 1970 as a child actor in his father Raj Kapoor’s film Mera Naam Joker.

Rishikpur started his acting career in 1973, three years later. The name of the film was Bobby. Dimple Kapadia made her film debut. Hrishikpur won the Best Actor award in this film. However, Rishikpur paid Rs 30,000 to get the award.

Rishikpur is known for telling his story with an open mind. He openly admitted this in his autobiography in 2017. He also said that he was very young at the time and did not have a clear idea of ​​what was wrong. The intoxication of the tremendous success of the film was something else. He had been regretting this all his life.
