RR vs SRH IPL 2020 : Tewatiya-Parag’s Tremendous Innings, RR Beat SRH By 5 Wickets

IPL 2020 SRH vs RR Match Report: In the 26th match of the 13th season of the Indian Premier League, Rajasthan Royals faced Sunrisers Hyderabad on Dubai ground. This match was won by the Rajasthan team. Rahul Teotia once again proved to be the match winner for Rajasthan. Hyderabad lost by 5 wickets in this match. This is Rajasthan’s third win in IPL 2020.


In this match, Hyderabad captain David Warner decided to bat first after winning the toss and thanks to Manish Pandey’s half-century, scored 158 runs in 4 overs in 20 overs. In this way, the target of 159 runs for victory in front of Rajasthan. At one time it seemed that the Rajasthan team would lose the match, but Rahul Tewatia and Ryan Parag did what no one expected.

Rajasthan Royals achieved the target of 159 runs by 163 runs losing 5 wickets in 19.5 overs. In this match, Rajasthan were on the score of 78 runs, but after this Rahul Tewatia smashed 45 from 28 balls and Ryan Parag scored 42 runs from 26 balls and gave the team victory. Both these batsmen hit 10 fours and sixes and snatched the match from Hyderabad. Winning hit Ryan Parag.

Hyderabad’s innings, Manish Pandey’s half-century

David Warner and Johnny Bairstow have started the innings once again for Hyderabad. Both started off slow, scoring just 13 runs in 4 overs. Young bowler Karthik Tyagi gave the Hyderabad team its first setback in 4.4 overs. Boerstow returned for 16 after a superb catch taken by Sanju Samson off Tyagi. Hyderabad was dealt the second blow by Jofra Archer. He boldly sent back David Warner, batting on 46 runs.

After Warner was dismissed, the run rate of Hyderabad was carried forward by Manish Pandey. He scored a half-century while batting brilliantly. Pandey scored a half-century off 40 balls with 4 fours and 3 sixes. Rahul Tevatiya, off Jayadev Unadkat, sent Pandey back with a catch of 54 runs scored. Kane Williams scored 22 off 12 balls while Priyam Garg scored 15 runs off 8 balls to take the team to 158 runs. For Rajasthan, Joffra Archer, Karthik Tyagi and Jaydev Unadkat took one wicket each.

Rajasthan’s innings, Stokes open

Chasing a target of 159 runs, Rajasthan Royals team sent opener Ben Stokes along with Jos Buttler, who would play their first match in IPL 2020. However, he was dismissed by scoring 5 runs in 6 balls. The captain’s first move failed, but captain Steve Smith himself was run out after scoring 5 runs. They wanted to steal the second run. The third shock came in the form of Jos Buttler, who scored 16 runs and became the victim of Khalil Ahmed.

The fourth wicket of Rajasthan fell as Robin Uthappa, who scored 18 runs, and was dismissed by Rashid Khan. The fifth blow to the team was in the form of Sanju Samson, who scored 26 runs and was caught by Bairstow off Rashid Khan. Ryan Parag 42 from Rajasthan and Rahul Tewatia returned unbeaten after scoring 45 runs.
