Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case has raised the question of the extent to which drugs are used in Bollywood.
The NCB has arrested Sushant’s girlfriend Riya Chakraborty and others, including his brother Shovik. Many are still being arrested.
Riya is believed to have named the NCB after several Bollywood celebs and now the NCB is making a dossier for their inquiries. According to reports, several celebrities, including Deepika Padukone, may be involved.

Bollywood actor Fardeen Khan was arrested for buying a gram of cocaine. Fardeen was charged under Section 21 (a) and Section 28 (c) of the NDPS Act. Fardin was granted relief by a special court in 2012 and has since gone through a de-addiction process.
Vijay Raj in Abu Dhabi
Vijay Raj was arrested in Abu Dhabi with marijuana. This is what happened on February 14, 2005. Vijay Raj was in the UAE at the time for the shooting of Vikram Bhatt’s film ‘Diwane Hue Paagal’. Vijay Raje claimed that he had no idea how six grams of cannabis came in his bag. However his report came back negative and then he was dropped.
Prateek Babbar admitted to taking drugs
Raj Babbar’s son Pratik Babbar said in an interview that he took drugs for the first time at the age of 13. In an open letter to the newspaper Mid-Day, he said he initially took marijuana and then hashish. It then reached for cocaine and acid.
Mamata Kulkarni accused of drug smuggling
Mamata Kulkarni was allegedly linked to a Rs 2,000 crore drug racket. She was present with her husband Vicky Goswami at a meeting of drug smugglers in Kenya in January 2016. Vicky Goswami is said to be India’s biggest drug smuggler. Mamata, however, denied the allegations.
