Tomorrowland lands in Thailand
Tomorrowland has officially announced its first-ever festival in Thailand, scheduled for 11–13 December 2026. The three-day event will take place at Wisdom Valley in Chonburi, a site previously mentioned by the Thai Tourism Authority (TAT).
Site, capacity and logistics
The festival grounds cover 237 hectares and will host multiple stages across the site. Organisers expect around 50,000 people over the weekend. Unlike the Belgian edition, Tomorrowland Thailand will not offer on-site camping; instead, attendees can use nearby hotels and festival shuttle buses arranged for the event.
Tickets and local partnership
Tickets are set to go on sale from the end of February. The event is organised in partnership with the Thai Tourism Authority and the Thai government, both of which have promoted the festival as part of a broader strategy to attract global cultural tourism to the country.
Organisers and local collaboration
Tomorrowland CEO Bruno Vanwelsenaers said the move reflects a shared ambition to create a world-class cultural experience. “Thailand feels like the right place, not only because of the beauty and energy, but also because of the shared ambition to create something meaningful and of world-class quality,” Vanwelsenaers said in a statement.
The Belgian team will collaborate with a 40-person local crew in Thailand to deliver the event. The TAT called the festival a key milestone in positioning Thailand as a global tourism and creative hub.
Background and recent Tomorrowland activity
Tomorrowland’s decision follows earlier reports and a period of clarification between the festival team and Thai officials after preliminary plans surfaced in 2024. This announcement is the festival’s first formal confirmation of its Thailand debut.
Tomorrowland has expanded internationally in recent years, staging events in China and running its flagship Belgium weekends (confirmed for 17–19 and 24–26 July 2026) and Winter edition in the French Alps.
