In an Instagram post, Stefan “MC Ride” Burnett and Zach Hill shared a series of photos from the recording studio, accompanied by a direct and unambiguous statement. “The Writing and recording of our next album is underway,” the post read. “We’re looking forward to the new Death Grips record.”
Putting An End to Speculation
This announcement serves as the final word on the band’s future, which had been a topic of intense debate among fans. The confirmation comes after a period of uncertainty, fueled when a private message from seemingly now-former member Andy Morin suggested the project was over. The band resurfaced in April to deny these breakup rumors, stating they remained “active,” a claim now fully substantiated by their return to the studio.

What Have They Been Up To?
