Leaning into his on-screen persona, he added with a frown, “It was cool, though — I mean, eh, cool. I mean, it’s terrible. But if you’re a professional thief like I am, I was very proud of those guys.”
‘Ocean’s Fourteen’ is a Go
The timing of the real-world heist is uncanny, as Clooney recently confirmed that the beloved Ocean’s franchise is set for another installment. He revealed that a script for ‘Ocean’s Fourteen’ is in “great shape” and that the production team is currently working on scheduling, with filming likely to begin next year.
Fans will be thrilled to learn that the original crew is expected to reunite. Clooney stated he will reprise his role alongside Julia Roberts, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, and Don Cheadle for the upcoming sequel.

A New Target in Mind?
When asked if the next film would draw inspiration from the Louvre incident, Clooney joked, “We should rob the Louvre, but somebody’s already done it, man, I don’t know.”
He then laughingly suggested a new, more personal target for Danny Ocean’s crew. “You know what we’re going to do? We’re going to rob [Adam Sandler],” he quipped, referencing his ‘Jay Kelly’ costar. “He’s got some crown jewels, I know he does.”
The Ocean’s film series, which began with the 2001 hit Ocean’s Eleven, follows Danny and his ever-expanding team as they pull off a series of increasingly complex and daring heists around the world. As fans eagerly await the next chapter, it seems life is providing plenty of material.
