While speaking with PEOPLE at the season 2 premiere of her show, Lupe didn’t hold back. “Oh gosh. I’ve got to say it’s kind of annoying, but I’m really loving all of it,” she confessed.
She explained what she enjoys most about her baby girl. “She’s a delight, she’s so funny. I guess the thing that I enjoy the most is how unabashedly grounded on the earth […] she is.”
Lupe added, “Babies don’t have any self-consciousness, so they’ll look you right in the eye and fart and don’t have a bit of self-doubt about the situation, and I kind of love how carefree the whole vibe is. It’s really a sweet one to be around, and it reminds you that that’s a charming quality just to be authentically yourself.”

Fans might be surprised to learn that Lupe was hiding a big secret during the filming of her hit show. In a social media post, she revealed she was over five months pregnant while shooting the series.

Lupe recounted the moment her costars learned she was expecting: “And a cast and crew who supported me from the moment my Gucci skirt ripped open in both the front and backsides on set at 2am when they had no idea I was pregnant and thought I was just rapidly falling apart.”
