- New poster released of ‘Main Mulayam Singh Yadav’, journey from wrestler to politician was shown in the teaser
A new poster of an upcoming film on the life of Samajwadi Party president Mulayam Singh Yadav has been released. The poster features Amit Sethi in the role of Mulayam Singh. Earlier, during the lockdown, a motion poster of the film and a 15-minute teaser were also seen.

The makers have not yet given any information about the release of the film. The poster was shared with the caption, ‘They came. He changed his political outlook when capitalism and bureaucracy were the mainstays of politics. ‘
These actors will be seen in the film
The film stars Amit Sethi, Mimoh Chakraborty, Govind, Namdev, Mukesh Tiwari, Zarina Wahab and Supriya Karnik. The film is directed by Suvendu Raj Ghosh and produced by Meena Sethi Mandal. The film’s motion poster and teaser were released in April.
The film traces Mulayam Singh’s journey to how a farmer’s son enters politics. Many slogans were heard in the motion poster, in which ‘Jiska Jalwa Kayam Hain, Uska Naam Mulayam Hain …’
Mulayam Singh’s trip came
Mulayam Singh was born in Saifai village in Etawah district. Born into a farming family, Mulayam has five siblings. His father Sudhar Singh Yadav wanted him to become a wrestler but after impressing his political guru Nath Singh in a wrestling match in Mainpuri, he started his political journey from Nath Singh’s assembly constituency Jaswant Nagar. Before entering politics, Mulayam also taught at Inter College for a few days.
Before the film, several books were written on Mulayam Singh, including Ashok Kumar Sharma’s ‘Mulayam Singh Yadav: Chintan Aur Vichar’, Ram Singh and Anshuman Yadav’s book ‘Mulayam Singh: A Political Biography’.
